    A brief introduction to SA193-B8
    2023-05-05 14:50:46

SA193-B8 is an American standard bolt and Stud grade with high requirements for mechanical properties, with a certain tensile strength exceeding 860MPa.

Actually, it is also a stainless steel material standardized by ASME in the United States

It is widely used for manufacturing mechanical equipment and components that require excellent comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and extrusion formability) due to its high, low, and high pressure resistance characteristics. In order to maintain the unique corrosion resistance of stainless steel materials, steel must contain 18% or more chromium and 8% or more nickel content.

Mainly used in petrochemical equipment smelting, industrial sewage treatment, pump valve fields, etc.

What is the material sa-193.cr.b8.cl2? Sa193-b8 is an austenitic stainless steel material. Austenitic stainless steel refers to stainless steel with austenitic structure at room temperature. When the steel contains about 18% Cr, 8%~25% Ni, and about 0.1% C, it has a stable austenite structure.
