What are the types of bolts

Bolt, High strength bolts, Screw

Full thread stud

A bolt is a common type of fastener that serves to connect and fix different objects together. According to different shapes, uses, and design characteristics, bolts can be divided into various types. The following is a list of common bolt types:

1. A fully threaded bolt is a fastener with a thread that extends completely to the entire length of the bolt, capable of connecting two or more objects together and securing them by tightening the nut.

2. Partially threaded bolts are bolts that only cover the thread on a portion of the length of the bolt. Usually, the threaded part is used to match the nut to secure the item, while the other end is a smooth handle to provide strength and support.

3. Screw: A screw is a long bolt with threads, usually used to connect very thick components. Its length is long, aimed at ensuring the strength and stability of the connection.

4. U-shaped bolt is a type of bolt that is U-shaped, with one end fixed to an object and the other end used to connect components to provide stable support.

5. Anchor bolts are bolts used to fix objects in concrete or brick walls. They are fixed in the substrate through bolts and connected to the components that need to be fixed using nuts or other fasteners.

6. Shoulder bolt is a special bolt with a shoulder extension, which not only provides support and positioning, but also facilitates the installation and fixation of the bolt.

7. Cone head bolt: Cone head bolt is a type of bolt with a conical head, commonly used to connect components that require better alignment and positioning.

In addition, there are many other bolts with special shapes and designs, such as gusset bolts, retaining ring bolts, block bolts, etc. They have special functions and uses in specific applications.

The above are only common types of bolts, but there are actually many other types of bolts, each with a specific purpose and applicability. Therefore, when selecting and using bolts, it is necessary to determine the most suitable bolt type based on specific needs and application scenarios.
