ASTMA307-2000 is the standard for carbon steel external thread standard fasteners. That is to say, three different strength grades using the same low-carbon steel material are represented by the letters A grade, B grade, and C grade. A-grade ordinary hexagonal bolts suitable for general commodity use; Class B is suitable for large (heavy) hexagonal bolts connecting pipes and flanges; Class C is applicable to anchor bolts and hook bolts with certain plasticity requirements, and is specified to use American standard A36 material. Grade A bolts require a minimum tensile strength of 412NN/elongation of no less than 18%, Grade B bolts require a minimum tensile strength of 412N/maximum tensile strength of 699NN/within the range of mm2, with an elongation of no less than 18%, Grade C bolts require a minimum tensile strength of 399N/maximum tensile strength of 551N/within the range of mm2, with an elongation of no less than 23%, equivalent to Grade 4.6 of GB, which requires high material requirements and is difficult to process. A-grade bolts are the lowest strength grade products in American standards.
